Sightseeing Tour (included in the accompanying person's fee)

This sightseeing tour guided in English will introduce you the city's
most interesting sights and attractions and give you an excellent view
of Helsinki's past and present. You will discover the most important
sights of Helsinki: the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, the Parliament Building and the Olympic Stadium. Stops are made at the Sibelius Monument and, if possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church, quarried out of the natural bedrock.

City Reception

The city of Helsinki welcomes the delegates of WSRM 2011 to a reception. The reception will take place at the City Hall, Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13, less than a 10 minutes’ walk (600 meters) from the Congress Venue.
Finnish Evening by the Sea on Uunisaari Island

Spend a relaxing Finnish Evening by the sea with your
colleagues. Enjoy
the light summer night, a barbecue and drinks with music. This is
also a good opportunity to have a sauna and dip into the sea during
your visit in Finland!
Finnish Nature & Design -tour (included in the accompanying person's fee)
Friday 1 July at 13:00-17:00
Fee 100 EUR
This afternoon tour is a fascinating combination of Finnish dishes,
nature and top design. The tour begins with a lunch in an idyllic
setting by the Vantaa rapids and continues with a guided walk to admire
the beautiful summer nature in a nearby island. From the island
the tour takes you to the final destination, a design outlet with shops
that offer you the Finnish top design from glassware and ceramics to
furniture. Please remember to wear good shoes!
Congress Dinner

Fee 100 EUR
(Please sign up by 20 June; there are only a very few tickets available on-site.)
The congress dinner and a dance party will be held at the Restaurant Wanha Satama. You will have a chance to enjoy the company of your colleagues at dinner and later on dance your feet off.
