POST-CONGRESS TOUR TO ST PETERSBURG
2 - 5 July, Fee: € 1220/1430
Please note that due to hotel reservations in St.Petersburg we cannot accept new reservations after 30 April!

Welcome to St. Petersburg, the city of three ages of Russia’s cultural
and intellectual enrichment, the city of three revolutions that
affected the world’s political and cultural development for decades.
Born out of Peter the Great’s solitary vision of European
sophistication amidst the former bogs, the city’s awe-inspiring
architectural splendor belies a turbulent history.
The worldwide famous architectural monuments, like the Grand
Palace in Peterhof, Catherine Palace in Pushkin, Paul’s Palace in
Pavlovsk, Hermitage &Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac’s Cathedral
& Church on the Spilled Blood, are on the list of must see
tourist attractions of the city and its suburbs and reflect some most
important stages in the development of the world’s culture. In many
respects, St. Petersburg museums will be rivals to European
acknowledged treasuries, like Versaille.
For decades St. Petersburg has been a Mecca for arts’ connoisseurs,
history buffs and just ordinary people representing various professions
and life-styles, though invariably sharing a common respect to the
world’s cultural legacy and avid for authentic intellectually enriching
experiences.
The fee includes the travels by train from Helsinki to St Petersburg
and back, accommodation, meals and transfers and visits to various
museums and sites, ballet at Marinsky Theater, sight-seeing tour and an
English speaking guide in St Petersburg.
Everyone will need a visa. Application must be done 2 months
prior to the visit. Visa is not included in the fee. Documents
for visa application will be provided: please e-mail the following
information to info(at)congcreator.com: full name, date of birth,
citizenship, number of passport, genre.
