Dear Colleagues,
It is with great personal
satisfaction, that the 6th congress of the World Society for
Reconstructive Microsurgery is taking place in Helsinki, Finland from
June 29th
to July 2nd, 2011. The 6th WSRM congress is designed to
provide an international forum where you are able to exchange
scientific information
and network with leaders and friends within the family of microsurgery
including hand, plastic and orthopaedic surgeons, as well as basic
scientists
from all over the world.

The
organising committee has planned a stimulating
scientific programme to cover new aspects of microsurgery style
including the latest developments in research
and biomedical technology. The featured
topics will be reconstruction of
the breast, head and neck, functional upper limb surgery, lower limb,
urogenital area, facial paralysis, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve
surgery
and replantation. Special emphasis will be focused on the
multidisciplinary
approach to microsurgery and training.
